Hello All!!
This is an URGENT blog! Thus far on the race we have been traveling as a pack of 52…we started this crazy adventure as strangers, coming from all over the country and Canada. We were put into teams and were told “this is your new family”. And now after 4 months of difficult living situations, working together for the name of Christ, and truly becoming brothers and sisters…one of my sisters is in need! Aim allowed us racers to start the journey without having our full support raised with the faith that the Lord would provide the rest as the race went on. One of my world race sisters is still in need of much support in order to stay on the race! World Race has never had to send anyone home because of lack of funds…and us here on H-Squad are not about to let one of our own be the first!! So this is a cry for y’all, my supporters, to help make sure of this.
My cry is this: Would you PLEASE consider supporting Kara?? Monthly support and one time donations certainly would be GREATLY appreciated!! She needs $4000 by the end of this month! You can send checks to the AIM offices (6000 Wellspring Trail, Gainesville, GA 30506) , with Kara Frate’s name and WR Jan 09 in the memo line. Again, PLEASE consider this…this squad is not complete without her and we would be devestated to lose a family member!!
Let me introduce Kara Frate…or Kara Dawn Frate, baby girl, Kare Bear, little bit or Karat…she answers to all those names…and even with the rolling of the eyes, she loves them all! She is a fellow Texas girl, with an endearing and much made fun of Texas drawl. She is the baby of the race, but this says nothing about how the Lord is working in and through this mighty woman of God!! She has a voice on this squad and many more lessons to learn this year!
