How many times have you…
                                         Pulled Rather than pushed?
Tried to enter through the exit?
                                                                                                       Walked into a glass door?

These are all common examples of doing rather than seeing. What could have been avoided by simply looking where you were going now has turned into a possible embarrassing moment. Trust me – I’ve done it myself!

As I was in worship this morning, I looked up at the exit sign. God just kept reminding me that once we enter into a relationship with Him, there is no exit. He is always there. We are always in His presence. By taking the time to stop, look and be directed by Him, we can walk with our head held high in confidence. We need to start trying to see God rather than trying to be God!

Sometimes we will make mistakes.
Sometimes we will trip and fall.
Sometimes the door will swing the other way and hit us in the back.

These moments only make us come out stronger on the other side (or at least should). Although these times are inevitable – let’s not forget to walk looking to the one holding our hand and carrying us through this journey called life.
