Have you ever been in a place where you feel like you can’t go anywhere or do anything? A place where you feel contained? That no matter what comes your way, you just try to stay afloat, dodge it, and hide behind your fears and emotions? Do you feel limited to do what you have always wanted to do, yet have never done?
Today I start a journey that is going to move me out of my containment. It is a journey of personal and kingdom dreams. It is a journey that began years ago, even though I didn’t see where it was leading me. Often, it can become easy to doubt what is spoken over or to you, as those around you try and understand and figure out why you do the things you do.
As we have been praying and worshipping, visions have been appearing. Words have been spoken. God’s presence is here and amongst us. Why do we so often try and avoid the way he moves in our lives? We tend to hold back rather than giving our all, and then some more!
I am choosing to walk in my freedom and the faith God has given me, to be passionate about who God is and what He is doing. I am choosing to no longer be contained. I am breaking free of the box – the things and the people that are holding me back. I am not going to keep HIM or the dreams he has given me to myself. What God is doing in my life is going to explode beyond what eyes can see.
Yesterday, Mel had a vision of me inside a house, not leaving to go anywhere or do anything beyond what is there in front of me. All of a sudden, there was an explosion, and I was free. I was no longer contained. The house scattered…not just a few feet from the foundation, but throughout Canada. I believe this is just the beginning of what God is already doing. He is igniting a fire inside of me – one that needs to spread and be seen!
This is just the beginning of the 1st generation of Project Searchlight. After seeing Mel’s vision and being here the last few days getting to know the staff and seeing the hearts behind it, I now understand the greater picture. I don’t have to doubt the words spoken over me – I can live them, embrace them and walk in them. God is at work. Most people cannot see it. Some don’t want to. Other’s see it yet don’t want to believe it. God has called me to do great things – things that in all honesty, I am scared to do – yet I will not walk in the fear of man, but the fear of the Lord!
I am done just dreaming my dreams and not doing anything about them. These dreams go beyond my dreams – they are God’s dreams. Visions and ideas that are coming into action in God’s perfect timing. What is holding you back from not only dreaming those dreams, but living them and putting them to action? Are you contained? Are you afraid?
Get out of your box – the box that you have succumbed to and put yourself in. Nobody is making you stay there. Move. Live. Love. Grow. Deepen what God has already planted in your heart. Don’t just sit stagnant – do something!
