I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith
that was once for all entrusted to the saints.

As we entered Ukraine, we were challenged as a Squad to contend for the faith. To not stay where we are. To not be who we were. To press on and into what God has for us! To continue to run the race to the end, and then more. Not ending with energy left, but knowing that I, as well as the rest of the Squad, has given ALL that we can give and then some more, knowing that what we have to give is not our own – but through Christ!

Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ…

I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel
without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you.

Philippians 1:27-28

Plans change. We still need to be fluid and expect the unexpected! Life goes on. It does now, and will when this journey is done. Going home will not be easy, but just another chapter, season and part of the journey God has for me. Regardless of whether I am on the World Race or at home, I want to continue to contend for the faith. I want to love deeply, serve cheerfully and live life to the fullest.
