It was a long day, varying temperatures and seeing what I have only seen in local Zoo’s. H- Squad just returned from an African Safari…and Mike, Patti and Ashley were able to experience it with us (Jenny Brown, we missed you)!

What an experience. Bru was our Safari guide. We saw things that most people do not see in one day – we not only saw the fantastic five (buffalo, elephant, rhino, leopard, and lion) we also saw the magnificent seven (the fantastic five along with the cheetah and wild dog), tremendous twelve…and onward! Some people have waited 10 years to see what we have seen, yet God blessed us with all his glory in amazing ways!

Bru has been a Safari guide for 29 years. He knew where to take us…but said it is unusual to see ALL the animals in one day, let alone a few hours…we had a great time as the Bru crew!

The impala reminded me of home – deer crossing! Zebra’s are more beautiful than I imagined. Giraffe’s radiated in the sunlight!

The size of Kruger National Park is enormous. It is bigger than the Netherlands. We entered the park before sunrise. We all FROZE with the natural air conditioning around us in our open vehicle. We laughed and made memories to last a lifetime.

This day was a day in God’s presence. The glory of God was all around us. We saw the splendor of the King in all his majesty from the sunrise to the animals and the terrain! Our God is an awesome God! His beauty radiates throughout the earth!
