Training Camp has come and gone. I’ve only been home a day, and already I am missing my team and Squad. Yes, Georgia was a nice “break” from the day to day “routine” I’ve grown accustom to here. The last 10 days, I was waking up to 40 other girls, trying to stay warm as we got ready in the dark for our emotionally, spiritually and physically draining days of team building, sessions and heart to heart conversations. I laughed, cried, hugged and shared more in the last 10 days than I have in the last few months – it just makes me excited to think of what is to come in January…9 weeks and counting!
The wait is over…I can officially say I HAVE A TEAM!!! Thank you LORD and everyone for your prayers as I waited on the Lord the last few months. What a blessing it is to be a part of the happy, hilarious, and Holy Spirit led
H SQUAD!
There are 55 of us from all over the USA and Canada…14 men and 41 women…add to that the most FUN and AMAZING Squad leaders
Jenny Brown and
Ashley Musick…along with our coaches Mike and Patti Paschall. God has called us to go into the Nations and preach the gospel. We have answered His call!
It is now my pleasure and privilege to introduce to you my family for the next year. These are the women I will be living, traveling and doing ministry with!! Was I expecting to be on an all women’s team? Not exactly but I know
this is where God wants me and that my dependency will be on God and
not the men on my Squad. God is our focus! The men are our brothers! This team of seven women is a diverse blend of gentleness, love,
encouragement, fierceness, laughter, compassion and adventure. As an
all women team, we look to Christ for our strength and power. We are
His warriors…we are strong because He gives us strength! I am excited and blessed to be able to share the next year with them.
Matthew 10:16 says “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.”
So, here we are…the GENTLE WARRIORS!
To find out more about my team and teammates…check out their blog sites by clicking on a name below or their links in the left column! Please continue to pray for me and my team as we get to know each other the next few weeks before launch…as well as as we prepare our hearts and continue to learn and process what we just experienced in Georgia. I will continue to update you on what God is doing in my life and how things are coming together for our World Race Launch in January…9 weeks and counting…
