Where has time gone? Has it really been almost two weeks since I last blogged? Days are coming and going faster than I realize. Before I know it, October will be over and Christmas will be another month closer…which means leaving for the World Race is already less than 3 months away.

The days are getting shorter and colder. The leaves have changed colour and are slowly falling off the trees. Another season has begun. Another day is coming to an end. A new day is just around the corner and a week is here.  As one moment fades away, a new one is just beginning!
I am blessed this weekend to be able to celebrate (Canadian) THANKSGIVING with family and friends. There’s so much to be thankful for. So much we take for granted. So much that we don’t realize we have until we take a step back and look in from the outside…sometimes, we’re blind to what’s right in front of us because we are so busy and caught up “in the moment” and with ourselves to realize that there’s really SO MUCH more to life!

I find myself a few days away from heading back down to Georgia for yet another Training Camp for the World Race. I cannot contain my excitement. Already, I feel a strong connection with 50 amazing young men and women of God from around Canada and the USA. We are currently a group of strangers – facebook friends – as some of us would say. As of Friday, we will become a family. This will be a busy week working, packing and trying to get organized for the adventure that is ahead, but I am looking forward to the opportunity in front of me.

Please keep me and the rest of the squad in your prayers as we prepare our hearts and minds for what is to come, as well as we travel from the comforts of our home to the changes that will take place in Georgia (and our lives) over the next few weeks!!

Thank you for your love and prayers. Please continue to pray that I will trust God to provide financially. I know He meets our every need! I am so thankful for what He has already provided and what  He continues to teach me through waiting and trusting Him – even when it’s hard! It’s not in my strength, but through Him that all of this is possible!

May you all be blessed and remember to give thanks for ALL the blessings in your life – big  and small!
