My July-through-May journey on World Race plays out to:
11 months, 48 weeks, or 336 days (it’s a leap year)
$11,777 is what I have to raise beyond current pledges.
That shakes out to $1070.64 per month, $245.35 per week, or $35.05 per day.
I am working to build a support team of people who will commit to pray for me and/or donate financially either through a one-time gift or monthly pledge. Each of these types of support is absolutely essential to make this journey possible and I am finding a new dependence on God as I embrace this reality. I am asking you to consider being part of my team, and I hope we can speak more about it soon.
The most important information potential team members need right now is that I am so grateful for and humbled by your support. This is a new experience for me and already stretching me in novel ways. Next, donations can be made online or by mailing in checks.

- The Support Me! link on the left side of the blog will take you to a site of the parent organization of WR, Adventures in Missions, where you can make a card or bank draft gift.
- If you want to join the team as a monthly pledge supporter, you can set up the start/end dates and amount for that recurring gift.
- Although I will be in the field through May 2016, all my support needs to be raised by the end of December, 2015.

My specific circumstances resulted in me committing a bit later than most to WR, and my first fundraising deadline for online donations is

Meeting this first goal will require many one-time gifts in the next 6 days. It’s a lot, and it’s fast, but I would ask you to pray about being part of it. If 35 people give $100 this week or 100 people give $35, that is my entire first goal and 30% of my total support.
