As of Feb 21:
I only need $1000 to still be fully funded
Thank you for your support!
So close, praise the Lord!
I’ll be honest and tell you that I never thought I would be writing this blog.
I never thought that I would be in danger of coming home early, yet I am.
Coming on the Race, I knew that raising support was going to be a challenge for me. I am usually independent, and often self-sufficient. I like being able to do things myself. However, I knew that I couldn’t raise this money on my own, and that I would need the help of people around me.
Though it took me a few months, my attitude about raising support changed. I came to see that it’s way more exciting than I would have thought. God has blown my mind by his provision so far, and I love it.
I know that the Lord has used raising the money for this trip to teach me to be reliant upon him. It has taught me to believe in his provision and faithfulness. And, I know that several of you have been blessed by being a part of this ministry.
So, I knew that over the course of this journey, I would write emails and blogs about support. I knew that I would give updates and talk about it.
But I never thought that I wouldn’t have the full amount by the deadline, which is a mere two weeks away.
I’m still approximately $3000 short. And without it, I will be coming home to America, effectively cutting this Race short by several months. I love you all and would be stoked to see you, but I don’t think that time has come yet.
My gut tells me that the Lord isn’t done with me. That he has bigger and better and more in these next five months.
I’ve been praying to see miracles. I’ve been praying to see healings, to speak prophecies, to dream big, and to see the Spirit flow out of me. I’ve been praying for provision in abundance.
During church the other night, a teammate leaned over to me and said, “I feel like the Lord wants me to tell you ‘Trust, and get excited.’”
I do not know exactly how the Lord will provide in this situation, but I trust that he will, because that is what he does and that is who he is.
So, here I am, in desperate need of your help. I know that I have already asked, and received so much from you.
