Albania
A) I LOVE this city! (It reminds me of Italy.)
2) It is very cold here. (Good excuse to purchase souvenir scarfs.)
c) Campus Crusade is an awesome organization. (Wish I had been involved during college.)
D. Melissa might 'accidentally' steal our contact Besie, hide her in her carry on, and bring her back home.
7) Bald is beautiful. (the boys shaved their heads. we're telling them it looks good…)

But seriously…
We got into Sckodra, Albania on Friday the 14th after:
…a 1 hour flight from La Paz, Bolivia to Santa Cruz, Bolivia
…a 6 hour flight from Bolivia to Miami, FL
…a 3 hour flight from Miami to New York
…a 19 hour lay-over in New York (got to see Mom, which was AWESOME!!)
…to 10 hour flight from NY to Istanbul, Turkey,
…a 2 hour flight from Turkey to Tirana, Albania,
…and a 2 hour bus ride from Tirana to Sckodra.
So after, about, 3 days of travel, we finally arrived at our destination. We have some great contacts here (Besie, Frita, and Gusty) who have opened up their homes to us (we're able to actually cook our own food this month, which I cannot express how excited I am about) and already become great friends. We're partnered this month with Campus Crusade for Christ. As school just started this week, we've had the opportunity to pass out magazines and meeting invitations in front of each of the departments, hold nightly staff prayer meetings, and be part of a great first Crusade weekly meeting on this past Thursday. Additionally, we plan to begin teaching English starting next Monday, as well as to join the staff members on coffee dates with students where we will share the gospel and our own testimonies. We are very excited about what this month has in store!
Please pray for us… that our words would come from God and not ourselves.
Please pray for the students… that their hearts would be prepared to hear what God would say to them.
