As I write this, it is 30 years and 12 hours since I was born.
I am beyond amazed at how much God has blessed me, loved me through it all, and cared for me as His daughter.
I am almost in tears at how good He is to me.
To show me that despite the pain and trials, He loved me enough to rescue me from it all.
To make me new in Him.
To love me no matter what.
As I reflect on this day, I almost cannot believe how good He is at showing me His love for me when I asked Him to.
People poured out love to me today.
People poured out love to me these 30 years and I am beyond thankful for everyone who showed me love, who expressed love, who cared for me and loves me and fought for me, even when it was hard.
Especially when it was hard.
30 people sang happy birthday to me at the breakfast table this morning.
And almost 40 people that I am here with in Nicaragua expressed love and birthday wishes to me throughout the day.
They reminded me how loved I am, how cherished I am, how valued I am.
They reflected God’s heart for me.
They surprised me by singing happy birthday to me again tonight unexpectedly and surprising me with a piece of birthday cake with a candle!
This reminds me of all the people who showed love and faithfulness and care for me over these years!
I had an amazing birthday lunch and dinner with cherished friends and people I am looking forward to get to know even more this year.
Countless people expressed appreciation for me and love for me.
God is showing me that I am part of His family everyday.
That no matter the mistakes I made in the past or where I came from, I am loved.
That is it!
I am so, so loved by God, the King of the Universe and my Father, my Abba, my Daddy!
I am His!
This is how God sees you too and He can speak to your heart and show you the truth of how much He loves you and how He sees you- as His beloved, redeemed, BELOVED child.
You are His too.
“You are Mine.”
Isaiah 43:1- But now, this is what the LORD says– he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
He says this to you, His beloved child that He wants to welcome back home in His arms.
He says this to you, the one who ran away from Him all these days, months, or years.
He wants you back.
You. are. His.
He loves you!
You can return to Him now!
A most precious gift I received today was from God.
He showed me that I am His beloved daughter.
It was like an outpouring of the sweetest perfume as He showed me His heart for me, because I am His.
He can show you this too. Today or any day.
Ask Him to show this to you everyday!
If you are feeling distant from the God who sees you and knows you and loves you, reach out to Him, cry out to Him today. Do whatever it takes to return to Him.
Let go of what you are holding onto so tightly.
He wants you back.
His heart is for you.
God loves you more than you can imagine or dream or ever even think of!
God is crazy about you!
Return to Him fully today.
