11 Countries in 11 Months!
*Update: I am leaving in less than 3 weeks to go on the World Race. *
What is the World Race? The World Race is a journey to 11 countries in 11 months to make a difference by working at orphanges, teaching children and others and helping refugees. We will partner with churches and organizations through Adventures in Missions to share God’s love in practical, real ways.
I knew it was soon but didn’t know it was quite so soon.
Thank you everyone for your support and encouragement. It means the world to me, whether you read or commented on my blog or encouraged me with your words or a kind message to show your support and that you believe in me and what God has for me.

It is real and it is happening and my heart feels this!
I am excited. I am nervous. I am sometimes terrified. I have sometimes felt overwhelmed. But I know God has called me on this and I will not give up! I keep pressing on and fighting!
I have my one way plane ticket to Georgia and we will be leaving the country a couple days after January 7th from Atlanta.
I need you to get there the rest of the way!
Here is why we are doing what we are doing- read this if you don’t read anything else- this is why our work matters and is sometimes a matter of life or death. Each refugee is in a critical situation, trying to get to safety and current World Racers are a part of this crucial life saving mission: World Race helping Refugees in Greece
This is what I will be doing too when I go on the World Race, as Greece is one of the countries we will be going to.
Related to this life-saving mission, and in honor of Veterans Day, say thank you to a veteran today who has taken part in saving our lives too.
Even a simple expression of thanks can go a long way.
This week, encourage a friend or coworker or family member in the same way. Many times, people go without being thanked and while that might just be a part of life, it can really make someone’s day and encourage them to keep going when you say thank you or tell them why you appreciate them.
Update on where I’m at with my goal- My next deadline is the beginning of December.
The amount I need to go to launch is $10,000 and I still need about $7,000 by December 10th in order to go in January. Please donate now if you have been thinking about it- now is the time! It’s also a great time to think about your end of the year gifts and give what you can to help send me to the nations at the same time! I need you to do this and I appreciate whatever gift you are able to give.
Ask God if He would have you be a part of this. Ask Him what amount to give.
This journey is yours too and I need your help and support to go.
I have already given a significant amount towards the Race as I believe in this cause and mission. I am not asking for you to pay for all of this, but to prayerfully consider what you are able to give and partner with me in this life-saving and giving mission around the world.
Helping refugees is a part of it. Working at orphanages. Teaching. Speaking at churches. Helping human trafficking victims. This is all work we can be a part of. We find out more details once we get to each country.
I am trusting God even if I don’t see how it will happen in such a short time, but I know that God is faithful and if He is stirring or tugging on your heart to give, please prayer today and give now! I need you now! I am trusting God to move in a big way, so please join what God is doing. If He is telling you to give, please prayerfully consider what amount and give by the end of November if you can or the beginning of December to get me to my goal.
Philippians 3:12 I have not yet received all these things. I have not yet reached my goal. Christ Jesus took hold of me so that I could reach that goal. So I keep pushing myself forward to reach it.
1 Timothy 6:12: Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses.
