Have you ever wondered if God is for you? Really for you? I mean really.for YOU? As in on your side, fighting for you and wanting you to love him back? Let me reassure you, He always wants the best for you. His love for you is unending, unfailing, and unyielding. It is forever!
God is soo so good! He is for you. He.is.for.YOU! Really hear these words right now- they are for you! God is really for you and loves you and wants the best for you!
I was praying for confirmation, doubting a little and God touched my heart in a real and immediate way to show me I am not forgotten and it is for good reason my dream to go on the World Race has not died!
“He who called you is faithful and He will do this!” (1 Thessalonians 5:24)
I was talking with a friend about how I would be able to go on The World Race, it being a short 4 months away and still needing to raise $15,136 by then.
With my own plans, it is impossible.
“But with God, all things are possible.” (Mark 10:27b)
I am not letting worry or fear, mine or others get to me or distract me from what God has called me to do.
God is the one who has called me to go around the world to show love and speak freedom and share His saving grace with other nations. He will not leave me alone to do this. He will provide the way!
God is an awesome God like that! No matter what is holding you back from His love and grace today, please know this and remember it- God’s love is unfailing and He will never give up on you. He wants you to come to know Him.
“Today is the day of salvation!” (2 Corinthians 6:2)
Please make sure you are right with God today! If you are not as close with Him as you once were or you feel distant, make it right with Him today. He is waiting for you to return to Him.
When a friend shared with me how she felt joy when she heard I was really doing the World Race, the joy also sprang up in me. And it reminded me of the story of Elizabeth and Mary, when she “skipped like a lamb for sheer joy,” after hearing Elizabeth’s greeting that confirmed that the baby she was carrying was the one God had promised. When my friend shared her joy, it was also confirmation for me, similar to Mary. (For the original story, read Luke 1:39-45). It was like rain, refreshing and life-giving. It confirmed God’s calling and faithfulness. The fact that He really WILL DO THIS! He will provide the way for me to go on The World Race.
I don’t know how, but I know HE WILL!
My heart is joy filled at this and SO exuberant!
I will keep on doing on my part and trusting God to do this! He is a faithful God and provides for all of our needs.
My heart is to go to the nations and share God’s unfailing, lavish love and grace and joy for His people. To be there in action and in truth. This is my calling. This is my time. God will equip me to do His work. I am not perfect and He makes even the weak things perfect in Him.
He has given me a new identity in Him. I am redeemed. I am determined. I am relentless in the dream and journey He has called me on. I have surrendered my old way of life to God. God has redeemed me and shown me a new path where I can live a good, peaceful, loving, adventurous, beautiful, sweet and joy filled life.
“The joy of the Lord is my strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10b) (More on this-Psalm 28:7)
