What is the World Race?
I will be going to 11 countries in 11 months to share God’s love with orphans, widows, the poor and needy around the world. We might be working at an orphanage one month and in the next showing people stuck in human trafficking that there can be freedom and hope for them.
Here is a little bit about me:
Most peaceful place: Waterfalls ~ There’s something so grand and beautiful and majestic about them.
I am the oldest of 5 brothers and 1 sister. They are all my favorites! (Really!)
I have always loved to read and usually read anywhere from 2-10 books at once.
I love to write and am excited to be blogging about my adventure on The World Race.
I want to adopt lots of orphans and would have adopted one from South Korea when I was there if I could have. Read more about this here!
I have a Chinese name. It is pronounced “Shee euu jung.” It means “God is truth.” Among other new names, ask me about this! I got my Chinese name while I was teaching in Taiwan.
I am currently learning Spanish. Is this my native tongue? 😉
I am imperfect, but striving for God to work in me and through me.
I hope to be able to be a woman after God’s own heart one day.
I am quiet and loud, bold and brave, caring and passionate and wish to make a difference in this world someday. No, this is not a cliche. Everyone on this earth has their own purpose and mission to fulfill. What is yours?
