If you didn’t see my last “remember that one time…” blog, this is basically a list of random, amusing stories that have happened during my time in each country.
India
I spilled hot chai on my lap
We ate like hobbits (we legitimately had 2nd breakfast)
We ate beef (a rarity in India because of their Hindu culture)
Our tuk tuk almost flipped over backwards
One of our boys got henna
We ate fried chicken
We were stuck inside for 4 days straight because of rain/typhoon.
Nepal
We hiked for 4 hours and crossed a river 14 times
The boys raced up a mountain side carrying bags of sand
2 of the boys killed a chicken for dinner
We had to bathe in a river
We saw the sun rise over the Himalayas
I saw the milky way for the first time and saw 3 shooting stars the same night
We went for over a week without electricity
We ate really good Mexican food
I saw Mount Everest
We never found out who pooped on the trail
