Het everyone!  I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving from Romania and tell you all that I miss and love you.  Our contacts gave us the day off since it is a holiday for us and so we are thankful for that.  This month we are blessed to have three teams at the same location and a nice place to spend Thanksgiving together.

Our table for 23 people.

The girls did the decorating with some things from around the house.

Here are just a few things that I am thankful for:

Relationship with God

Nature

My camera and laptop

Cold weather

A bed (or any place to sleep indoors)

Nutella and peanut butter (they are life savers on the Race)

Great parents

Family

Friends back home

My new friends and family here on the Race

Ability to meet new people and stretch myself

Toilets that are not just a hole in the ground

Water to bathe in regardless if it’s warm or cold water

Music

For travel days less than 8 hours

Opportunity to see God work throughout the world

Good health

A great childhood

Good education

Sports

God’s word

The U.S.A

That I have been fully funded for the Race

The church

Enough money to eat and live comfortably

My gifts and talents

Well that is a short list of the things I am thankful for.  I will miss spending Thanksgiving with you back home.  Especially Grandad and Ann’s cooking!  Miss you guys!

“Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.

Worship the LORD with gladness;

come before him with joyful songs.

Know that the LORD is God.

It is he who made us, and we are his[a];

we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving

and his courts with praise;

give thanks to him and praise his name.

For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;

his faithfulness continues through all generations.â€ – Psalm 100
