I am 24 years old and an only child. I was born and raised in Ohio by two awsome parents that support me in all that I do. I went to a Christian school my entire life and I recently graduated from THE Ohio State University. I double-majored in Psychology and Criminology with a minor in Sociology. I was in the process of applying to law school when I decided to go on the World Race. It is going to be so much more exciting serving God throughout the world than to be cramming for law exams!

I am also a huge sports fan. I love baseball, hockey and college football. I have played baseball ever since I was six years old and played hockey my four years in high school. This has been a pretty big part of my life and is something that people would identify me with. Unfortunately, my favorite teams leave me little to get excited about (Cleveland Indians, Columbus Blue Jackets). At least the Buckeyes give me something to be happy about! Well, most of the time anyway, lol.

Another thing that is an important part of who I am is my church. It is there that I have slowly grown into a more mature Christian and learned the importance of fellowship. Before attending NLCC, I was never that excited about going to church or being involved with any related activities even though I was raised in a Christian home. Over the last four years, I have looked forward to Sunday mornings, small groups and any other function. I have gained a better understanding of what it is to be a follower of Christ and putting my faith into action. I have also been involved with the youth at my church which has been an extreme blessing! I love working with our kids and having the opportunity to see them grow in Christ is an awesome thing.
