Well, here we are on week two of month two of the world race. What a trip. This adventure's gonna fly by, I just know it.

If Albania was one of the most beautiful countries, Bulgaria definitely has some of the most amazing people I've ever been privileged to meet. We spent the last week at a summer camp in the mountains with the theme being worship as a lifestyle, so naturally being from Revolution Church, Bethel, and part of the Burn Movement, I absolutely loved it. Felt like I walked back into a WOW 2000 cd though. Sooooo many old classics nonstop but ya know what? People were experiencing God's presence through it so all the power to them and to God be the glory!

Our ministry for the week was toilet duty. There were 9 squatty potties in the woods and we cleaned them twice a day, a job I really didn't think was too bad since we weren't really scooping poop buuuut, the Bulgarians certainly appreciated us so I won't complain haha. We tried our luck at an American league for the volleyball tournament and got thoroughly destroyed but hey…. they got great practice on us so game on! Made some of the most amazing, kindest, funniest, most loyal friends ever up there though and I'm eternally grateful for them.

The guys there loved messing with poor Greg so the first day they caught him a couple of bees in a cup and told him it was Bulgarian tradition to give bees to those you respect and that in return, they have to feed and keep the bees alive for a week before they can let them go so…. poor Greg had to hold onto a pair of random bees all week. It was amazing.

Had our first miracle of the race, deaf ears opened. It was amazing. God's so good.

This week we're in the tiny village of Dobramirka, working at a christian convention center. The women spent the day cleaning windows and guest rooms while the guys cleared out a garage and attic and got them all tidied up. I also bought a goat today, you can learn more about him in my previous blog. He looks delicous.

That about sums up the month so far. We've been having some amazing devo and worship time with our team and I think it's really helping us grow together as we move closer to God's goodness and are able to glean off eachothers revelation of who He is. It's truly amazing what each of these guys carry. Wouldn't trade them for the world.
