So the one and only Ashlie Gosnell suggested to the mighty R Squad that we fill out a questionairre in a way getting to know eachother and after the wise guidance of a couple of our members it looks like rather than doing it in the facebook page we're all gonna do them through our blogs so here's mine!

1.    What was your favorite food when you were a child?

       I was a french toast eating machine. My mom made the best french toast.

2.    What’s the #1 most played song on your iPod?

      Skinny Love- Bon Iver

3.    What is one of your favorite quotes?

       you only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.

4.     What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
       
         indoor: i love musically inclined settings so whether that's going to an open mic or sitting around doing a drum circle either way's kinda amazing. outdoor: longboarding

5.     What chore do you absolutely hate doing?

         I'm not a huge fan of sheering sheep hahaha

6.     What is your favorite form of exercise?

       Well we're currently doing P90X together on the boat and i'm likin it a lot so far.

7.     What is your favorite time of day/day of the week/month of the year?

        time of day: whatever time the sun's setting, day of the week: currently monday cause it's my day off after a long weekend, month of the year: september because it's still nice but it's starting to get crisp

8.     What’s your least favorite mode of transportation?

       Greyhound buses

9.    What is your favorite body part?

       Man…this is gonna sound weird but I just have a thing for belly buttons….don't judge…they're just fun to poke? idk….ima stop now….feel like i'm digging myself a hole

10.   What sound do you love?

        Pure, unadulterated nature

11.    If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be like and what would it be for?

         Man back in the day at Bethel we used to have the craziest Jesus parties which were honestly, much rowdier and more fun than any worldly parties I'd ever gone to….All I'm saying is there's no high like the Most High 😉

12.    If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve seen before, what would you paint?

        I'd imagine it would involve some scenery from the red rock states.  I thought they were the most breathtaking things I'd seen in the whole of the U.S.

13.    If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be?

        Hard to say, I haven't lived them all yet and it seems like each one's better than the last.

14.    If you knew the world was ending in 2012, what would you do differently?

        Probably stop making fun of my married friends, decide they might to be onto something, and quickly find a wife in the next 3 months instead of holding out as the last single friend in my group hahahaha.

15.    If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor?

        Probably Bill Johnson or John G Lake. (or the one and only Stan, the heating man, Tussing but…..I mean…that's a lofty goal I know 😉 )

16.    If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?

         I think it'd have to be the creation of the universe….watchin the master Creator at work…fascinating

17.    If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

         Be a musical prodigy and just be able to master any instrument I touched.

18.    If you had to work on only one project for the next year, what would it be?

         Something awesome like….building a log cabin hahaha

         Walk the ocean floor.

         Zac Brown, Zach Galifianakis, and Ryan Dunn (all three being when I'm in transient hippie beard mode)

          A revivalist

28.     When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?

         These days? I mean….I live and work on a boat so… usually rest cause I can only go so far or do so much?

         Every single ex hahahahaha

32.    What was one of the best parties you’ve ever been to?

         As pointed out above, every Bethel party we had was pretty legendary.

33.    What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up?

          Just rewatched Hotel Rwanda the other day and that did it.

34.    What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?

         Prolly coming clean with my parents back when I got saved about all the stuff I'd been doing with my life.

35.    What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?

          Workin on this yacht! It's given me the amazing experience of finding my own flame instead of riding the church wave.

36.    What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?

         pfft….what didn't I do???

37.    When was the last time you had an amazing meal?

         Full on worthy of amazing? Last time I was in Ecuador. Every meal was to die for.

38.    What’s the best/worst gift you’ve ever given/received?

         A stuffed salmon. (love you sid)

39.    What do you miss most about being a kid?

          Sports

40.    What is your first memory of being really excited?

          I thiiiiiink, it was being grown up enough to learn to shoot a gun.

          Fireworks

42.    When was the last time you were nervous?

         Waiting to see if I got accepted on this trip!

43.     What is something you learned in the last week?

           That being stuck on an island for extended periods of time sucks hahaha

44.    What story does your family always tell about you?

          Idk if any one gets constantly repeated but the general message is how much of a terror I was as a child and it's such a miracle how I turned out.

45.    At what age did you become an adult?

          Continually a growth but probably 20 is when I shot forward in identity, life experience, and maturity.

           Oh ya know, gettin the stink eye from the starbucks employees for still being here 15 minutes before closing.

          Realizing my alarm clock was accidently set and I can go back to sleep cause it's my day off.

         Absolutly, the arts are one of the most powerful tools in the world and transform more movements and cultures than an elaborate speech ever could. Hence the reason there's so many countries that censor photos and use propoganda.
