My Grand Introduction

Well, here it goes! Got the acceptance out of the way (Thank you Jesus, the wait on that was excruciating!!!!) So I guess it's time to tell ya a little bit about myself. Being as I haven't spent much time really thinking out how to go about this it's gonna go in popcorn format of random facts and beliefs that I hold dear with some being a little more extensive than others sooooooooo….here it goes!

• I'm radically in love with an amazing Daddy who constantly loves me and brings my life beyond anything I could ever think or imagine.

• My biggest passion in life is dreaming and both watching mine and others' dreams come into fruition. I believe we serve an incredible God who's just waiting to use us in big ways and if we can dream it, He can make it happen, just like with Joseph in Pharoah's court.

• I have a huge passion for travel. I try to make it to at least two new crountries a year.

• I currently work on a megayacht which is kinda rad because I get paid to travel the world and work for the rich and influential.

• I spent all last year living out of a hippie van traveling around the U.S. discovering what God was up to outside of Astoria, OR and Redding, CA. It was slightly incredible

• Because of that, I really love the vagabond lifestyle and thus being on a trip where i get to be grungy again and not take showers/let my beard grow etc is probably more than a little exciting to me.

• My favorite actor is Will Ferrel and you'll probably here more than a few anchorman quotes around me.

• My Two favorite movies of all time are Big Fish and Secondhand Lions because I love movies I can get carried away into dreams and adventures in.

• I grew up on a sheep farm which was fairly awesome…in fact now that I'm on the east coast I kinda miss me some good lamb.

• I'm constantly conscious of the legacy I'll leave behind generations from now and I'm passionate about leaving an inheritance for a generation I'll never see, of being remembered for being a dreamer and someone who made other's dreams possible, and for being someone who radically loved everyone he encountered.

• My dad's an ex green beret and thus…in that classic school yard argument, my dad truly could beat up your dad 😉

• I believe that Jesus Christ is perfect theology, meaning that if a doctrine doesn't line up with the character of Jesus and what He did or said, I'm not a huge fan. I think the world is bursting at the seams waiting for a radical encounter with a victorious church and a victorious Jesus. One that actually believes that when Jesus said "it is finished" and "everything I've done and greater things than these you can do when you call upon my name" He meant it.

• I believe the arts are powerful and that if God truly is THE Creator and we're made in His image and carry His DNA, we as christians should be the most creative force in the world.

• Being from the northwest, I love my coffeehouses, longboards, folk music, art walks, flannels, micro brews, and antique pipes.

• Besides the overall lack of hygiene, the things I most look forward to about the World Race are the relationships that will be built, the powerful community of the saints I'm getting to be blessed to be a part of, the constant revelations through experiences on the field as well as the people I get to work with, and getting to answer God's challenge in Isaiah of "can a nation be saved in a day?" with a resounding yes!!!
