There
are some days I just don’t feel called to do ministry.  I’m tired, frustrated, worried or just
worn out from team drama and I just don’t want to do it.  Frankly, sometimes I just don’t feel
“called to the ministry we are doing, BUT I know that I’m called because I’m
on this trip and I KNOW that God called me to this trip.

I’ve
been thinking a lot lately about doing things verses wai
ting.  My parents taught me the importance of
a good work ethic.  When I c
ommit
to doing something, I will do it.
That’s why employers love me.
I’m always on time, get the job done and work hard.  And honestly this year has been a
struggle.  It’s not a 9-5 job.  I can’t clock in, do my work and clock
out.  It is a 24/7 thing but many
times I feel we are doing nothing!
Some people feel called to stay behind and pray, so feel called to do
something different then the actual ministry, and on and on.  I just want to do something.  Anything.  Whatever.  God
wants us
to spend time with him reading the word and in prayer.  It’s extremely important, but God also
wants us to get off our butts and go!
The great commission doesn’t say, set around praying about making
disciples it says, “GO and make disciples!â€  GO!

Sometimes
I don’t feel called to ministry, BUT I am called because God brought me on this
trip and He is
in everything I do even if it’s not something I feel called to.

And when I go, God blesses me beyond what I could ask for or imagine.
