God is everywhere.  Even in a bar in Thailand.
Even in the darkest, most disgusting place you can imagine, God is there.
His light in beginning to shine out in the darkness as His creation isn’t
afraid to go to the darkness to speak about the light!

This week one of the YWAM (Youth With a Mission) teams we are serving with here
in Phuket, Thailand, have the opportunity to play worship songs in one of the
bars on Bangla road.  Did you hear what I just said……WE GET TO WORSHIP
GOD THROUGH MUSIC IN A BAR!!!  I pray that people will be drawn in to see
what is different about the music.  I pray that God convicts the hearts of
the tourist who are there for drinking and sex.  I pray that the
prostitutes who work in the bar what to know about the God we are worshiping.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that my favorite worship song, “God of
This City” by Bluetree, was written in a bar in Thailand.  The below
video explains how the song came to be.  I whole heatedly believe that
greater things are yet to come and greater things are still to be done in this
city and in YOUR city as well!!!
