“For this reason, since the day (I) heard about the January World Race Team, (I) have not stopped praying for the January World Race Team and asking God to fill us with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And (I) pray this in order that the January World Race Team may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way; bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that we may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”
Right now on Sunday mornings in church we are studying the book of Colossians. A couple of Sunday’s ago my pastor, Mark, preached on a prayer that Paul had for the church of Colosse. He challenged us to pray this prayer for the individuals in our lives. Since then I’ve been praying this prayer every day for my January World Race team. Please join me in this prayer:
