I am finally in Africa, a continent near and dear to my heart. We have been in  Manzini, Swaziland for a week and a half , going through training and debriefing. It has been truly amazing! It has been filled with teachings, ministry opportunities, and hanging out with the Black family here in Swazi. We even got to watch the Super Bowl while eating junk food and cheering on the teams. There was a slight twist though, seeing that we were watching it at 1am in the morning and without any of the awesome commercials(we watched in on ESPN). But it was still amazing and felt very close to home.

So now we are off to our destination for the rest of the month of Feb. All of the teams prayed about where we felt we should go first, and team Ignite felt led to stay in Swaziland. So tomorrow we are off to Nsoko, which is about an 1 1/2 hour bus drive away. We will be working with the group G42 which is a organization that equips leaders to walk out in their calling in life and missions. We will be working at different care points, taking care of orphans, visiting hospitals, and serving where ever we are needed.

We finally get to live in our tents, sweat in some desert heat(very hot, I heard) and sleep among the wild! Yes, we will be waking up to giraffes, and zebras!

Internet is very slow here, so my blogging may be once a week or so. But updates are coming! I will be posting pics soon so that you all can feel apart of the African life. Thanks for your prayers and support!
