Glimpses
My life. As I think about it is easy but hard to describe.
As I am on a boat, walking on the streets, going to the store, talking with people my life seems normal.
Then the realization and adrenaline kicks in that I am doing this in a small town of Thailand, the capital city in Cambodia, and among the mountains and seas of the Philippians.
This is my life, for NOW. What God has called me to for NOW. It may be hard, stretching, and insightful and down right unpleasant at times but this is what He called me to and I was obedient.
At the same time I am surrounded with amazing men and woman all over the continent who are serving the Lord diligently, whole heartily, sacrificially, all for the Glory of Him. I get the privilege to work along these servants with great visions and hearts of gold and perseverance.
This amazes and awes me!
This is my life, where I see daily small glimpses of God’s amazing faithfulness, goodness, love, and provision.
This month our teams have been honored to be apart of blessing these servants of the Philippines with gifts of money to buy guitars, finish construction projects and small love offerings. It is certainly Christmas early among these parts. J
Over the weeks I will be sharing glimpses of my life and what “our” ministry has helped with over our stay in the Philippines. May you relish in the glories that the Lord has done and know that it is only through His power, strength and goodness that these things occur. Enjoy!
