So, many random thoughts come to my mind daily. And I see so many things that stimulate my brain. Hopefully I am not too different from the rest of the human race when I say that details fly by me all the time with out notice. But when I am blessed to have detail oriented friends in my life things are naturally pointed out to me. For instance, my friend Chris started to point out when the clock would show the same digits like 10:10,5:55, and so on, how this is a simplistic reminder of God’s love and attention that He has for “just me”. It was a visual substantial reminder of His promised love.

So over the years whenever I saw the double/triple digits it has been something I have embraced as an extra shout out from God about His specific love for me. As I have been in Cambodia especially, whenever I have been looking at my watch the time of 11:11 has been showing. Even as I am writing this today I looked down and it was 11:11! How awesome is that!

The reality of this repeating occurrence came to me last week as I was running, and I looked down and saw a repeating digit. It was pretty cool because it wasn’t something I was looking for and all of a sudden the Lord turned it into a revelation of huge surmounts. My mind went from how this was a reminder of His intimate love for me, to  all of His promises, and then linking it to an intense reminder of His love for the Cambodians, Americans and the human race in general who are unaware of them.

This swept over me with such mixed emotions! I thought then and there that I could weep for those that I know in my life that do not know Him, all the while His intense love and promises flooding my mind. All within minutes! It was very surreal but profound.

As I have been able to reflect on this, the ideas of His promises/truths have filled my thought process. I love the fact that God can use brief moments of revelation flooding to create a long term mediation process. These are a few but good ones that He has brought to me as of late.

Lord, Thank you for how you show up in everything! Your love is amazing and fulfilling. Please continue to show us little signs in our daily moments. Thank you for your promises and intense love for us. Father, help me in the times when I forget and get focused on my life, I ask for your intervention of your spirit.
