So, I know many of you have been waiting for me to post about my experience delivering a baby while in the Philippines.  I wrote a really long detailed blog about it and hope to post it some day.  I’m not really good at blogging, which I’m sure you have noticed by now.  But I did want to take some time to share with you a little of what’s going on in my heart.  The Lord has been teaching me a great lesson these past few months and that lesson is

I am truly blessed and loved by Him

Or in the words of my squad leader Natalie, I got FAAAAVVVVAAAA!!!!

I mean, what else would you call this life?  Everywhere I turn my Daddy keeps pouring out his love on me in the most extravagant of ways!  I’m seriously beginning to believe I’m the most spoiled of them all!!!!

My father knows the desires of my heart and he seeks to give them to me.  Don’t get me wrong, I don’t believe God is a genie in a bottle were my wish is his every command.  He is a good God and he will let the pruning fires come to press you and make you come out pure as gold.  But right now, I really am in a season of spoiling.  He is pouring out his riches, mercies and blessings into my cup to were they are overflowing.  My heart is overwhelmed with joy and happiness.  This month alone has been a month of un-forgettable experiences.  Thailand is truly an amazing place were dreams can come true.

Oh and did I mention I delivered a baby in the Philippines???????

I told my first team (Tikkun Olam) that one of my goals on the race was to deliver a baby.  I remember talking about it in the airport once and my squad leader Matt wasn’t so behind the idea.  Well for all you haters and nay sayers out there, tell me whose heavenly father loves her the most??? Yup, this girl!!!

*(Ok that may have been a little over dramatic.  Matt wasn’t really THAT against it. lol)*

But I have to admit, it has been one amazing experience after another amazing experience the past few months that has really shown me that God really does love me and he desires to give me good things.

This was a post I made on my facebook page a day ago:

“What im thankful for this month: Riding elephants, lighting lanterns for the famous lantern festival in Thailand, petting tigers, selfies with lions, chatting with monks, praying in Buddhist temples, praying in the red light district, meeting women in the red light district and showing them love, seeing what goes down in Pattaya and the great extent of it all, seeing Nefarious, working at Zions cafe, meeting awesome saints, watching lanterns on the roof, Thai pants and anklets, becoming a hippie/gypsy, studying the book of Romans, going to a Franklin graham conference in Thailand and meeting the band backstage on the last day, bamboo rafting, seeing waterfalls, building relationships with thai people, having all this happen in one month and trying to remember it all. GOD I LOVE YOU AND I KNOW YOU LOVE ME!”

I was sitting on my bed thinking of all the wonderful things Ive had the privilege to encounter this month and I was amazed.  Not to mention the friendships I’ve built and the growth I’ve seen in relationships I already had.

God continues to amaze me everyday. There has defiantly been some hard moments on the race for me. But my heavenly father is taking me on one amazing journey and I know I will be forever changed.

I’m just enjoying the ride

**Fundraising update: I need to raise $4000 by January 1st.  Im not sure of my internet situation next month as we will be leaving Thailand and going to Cambodia.  Im asking for 80 people to donate $50 to help me be fully funded by January 1st.  December is a great month to donate seeing that its my birth month and also christmas. Please prayerfully consider donating by clicking the DONATE tab on the left hand side of this page.  Thank you all for your continued support and getting me this far.  Lets finish this race strong!
