This is probably what most of you think the Philippines looks like. You wouldn’t be wrong to think that. There is a significant portion of this island nation which is mountainous and covered in jungle. But AIM didn’t send us here…

AIM sent us here. In front on our neighborhood you can find many types of transportation. The blue thing in the middle is a jeepney. It is an old U.S. military jeep converted to a form of mass public transit. There are literally thousands of these. To the left, the white box truck is also used in a similar manor to the jeep. To the right, the little red bubble looking thing, is a trike. Trikes are simply a motorbike with a side car which run short distance shuttle type services.

Some people call them pets, but….

From left to right – Cucumbers, green beans, bell pepper, sweet corn, snow peas, carrots, eggplant, cantelope.

Our kitchen. Self explanatory.

Though it may not look like much, this is the new and improved version of our bedroom; it has beds.

This is what we call the Dahlia Property. This is current what Adventures Philippines is using as their home and Base of Operations. Dahlia is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood almost as far north as you can go in the Metro Manila City limits. This property is complete with a coconut tree, two mango trees, about a dozen banana trees, a star apple tree, a chico tree, a clamasi tree, a chili plant and a cluster of taro. All this exited before we arrived; I just added a few vegetables.
I know it took forever, but you have to understand the internet situation overseas. This is a little bit of what life in the Philippines looks like.
As He leads me,
Jason
