Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! Thank you so much for your support and for being a part of this ministry. I truly am really grateful to know that I have people praying for and supporting me. I’m sorry I haven’t blogged much about it this month…at times I feel like words and pictures do no justice to the situation, but in the future I’ll try my best to update you all because you guys deserve to know! 🙂

As for now, I was blessed enough to experience Christmas and New Year’s with my R squad and it was amazing!!

Look at all the ginger bread men and houses we made…we made a lot more!

God has really been growing us a squad. He’s been teaching us to fight for each other just as God fights for us, meaning to continue to love each other regardless of annoyances, frustrations and differences. Of course, that’s never easy, but  it has been awesome to see the honesty and openess that people have..and of course GRACE  that people have.  We desire to know each other and pour into each other on a deeper level.  We’re learning to move as one body of Christ .

Christmas was amazing and so was New Years eve. Once the clock struck 12 am we toasted and then went outside to release paper lanterns into the sky (just like in the movie Rapunzel!)…it was a lot more complicated then we expected, especially cause we used fire to make a hot air balloon effect and of course that made it more dangerous…but we all lived 🙂

Well, we leave tonight for Rwanda at 2 am. I believe we will be flying into Uganda and then busing over to Rwanda. We were originally suppose to go to Uganda for the month, but since the elections are going on right now it can be really dangerous there. So praise God for wise decisions made from AIM staff!

Please keep us in your prayers as we  through Africa and as we get accustomed to a whole new culture!!

 OuR squad on Christmas Day!
