R SQUAD!!

So I’m here in Georgia right now at the World Race training camp!!! These past 7 days have been sooo random, strenuous, sweaty, smelly, moving,
uplifting and I love every part of it!! I got to training camp excited to meet
my squad and ready to bond with random strangers from all over the country. I
came with expectations and those expectations were completely blown away! Not
only did I meet the squad that I will be traveling with for 11 months, but I
met my new family for the next 11 months.

I prayed and cried with my brothers and sisters for the orphans
that just want to be held and for the women and children who want and deserve
freedom from the sex trade industry. We don’t just want to sit around, cry,
feel bad and move on with our lives, but we desire to step into the
unknown, into the uncomfortable and into a hurting world and spread the love of
Christ to those that are in pain. It’s crazy how just these few days a t training
camp has already changed my perspective. It’s crazy how I already have close
bond with my team. This year is going to be difficult without a doubt, it is
going to be stretching, it is going to be filled with memories and laughter and
I am so ready!!

Oh and I almost forgot, I found out who my teammates are!!I’m
going to be on a team with 5 other beautiful women. We are one of 2 all women
team on my squad. We are going to be an awesome powerhouse!!! I’ll tell you more
about them in my next blog! =) Stay tuned!
