Last week we did home visits with our ministry contact. We brought care packages of food to the different homes and blessed them with scriptures and prayers.  In one of the house we met a man named Renaldo. He was suferring from a lot of pain and could barely move. He had prostate problems, he was weak, and he would spend the night tossing and turning. Ever since his illness started he has been unable to attend church, which makes him quite sad. However, seeing us there gave him great joy. We shared Scripture, sang worship songs, and prayed for him. The joy that this man had even in all his pain was contagious. As we were leaving the house, we could feel God’s presece there. Our team talked about going back and doing a church service for the man, but didn’t get to it last week.

Today we did more home visits, and the lady we were doing home visits with informed us we would get the opportunity to stop by and see our friend Renaldo. So the first house we visited was to see an 11 year old boy name Axel who has a malignant brain tumor and starts chemotherapy on Monday. Guess who shows up? RENALDO!!! He comes walking in smilling and giving us all hugs. He tells us that he has been feeling much better. However, he didn’t come just to thank us, but to come and pray over Axel.  A man that could barely get out of the bed last week walked over 2 blocks on rough and uneven terrain to pray and encourage this chilld. I’m requesting you to do two things:

Pray for Axel, for his family, and the doctors that are taking care of him

Pray for Renaldo

Thank you for reading. Until next time, God bless you!
