We were asked to write a blog about how we felt before leaving on this
mission trip. Here is what I’m expecting…
I am feeling very enthusiastic about leaving for this mission trip
and more as the day approaches. I feel encouraged,compelled, backed, rescued by God’s plan for my life.
I am expecting to loose my life for the sake of Jesus and the
gospel so that I can find a new life. Mark 8:35.
I am expecting to face hardship and trials and overcome them.
I am expecting to be God’s mouthpiece and speak in other
languages that I have never known or heard by yielding to God’s Spirit.
I am expecting to comfort the brokenhearted.
I am expecting to hear from God with greater clarity than ever before.
I am expecting to mature in followship, leadership, and social skills.
I am expecting to know God’s plan and purpose for me and to be fulfilled in living it out with Him.
I am expecting to rely on God
in different areas than before and have more of His Word revealed to me.I am expecting freedom in Christ!
