Status of my heart…and possibly yours?

I am not sure about you all, but as we draw nearer to the moment of leaving America, the bittersweet taste of the race grows stronger and stronger. I have begun to doubt, to rethink, and yet I am excited and anticipating the rich journey the Lord has planned for us all.  I have spent the last several years of my life asking the Lord for a few specific things, and ironically He has blessed me with all of the deep desires of my heart…and is asking that I forsake those desires and choose Him above them.  Wow, talk about crazy.  So that is where my confused, confused heart is.  And yet, somehow in the mix there is beauty and freedom.  Any who, I just wanted to throw all of that craziness out there and tell you all, my family, that God is good.
