Yup. I said the dreaded word… deadline. Yuk. But guess what?
The Lord knows your deadlines and your bottom lines too. He knows everything you need before you even ask for it. By the way, have you asked Him for it? Or are you working to get it all in yourself? ASK Him, He’s your Dad! God is not interested in you stressing out- working for it like a paycheck- He didn’t call you to this so you could learn how to depend on Him LESS and work harder yourself. He just didn’t.
It says in Luke 12, that the flowers of the field do not TOIL or SPIN in panic trying to get what they need. They just spend their time being flowers- and they allow God to clothe them more beautifully than Solomon! In Philippians it says that God will ” supply all of your needs according to HIS riches in Christ Jesus” (4:19). Hebrews 13 promises “I will never fail you, I will never abandon you. So we can say with confidence, ‘the Lord is my helper I will have no fear…’ “
So for those of you who feel like you are spinning, fearful or panicked about the upcoming financial deadline, we say this: Lay it at His feet and let it go. You are NOT children of this world, but children of the OWNER OF THE UNIVERSE. You live in a reality that cannot be SEEN. So even when it looks crazy- keep walking in it. Praise Him for it. Worship Him for what He’s doing on your behalf!
V- Squad, we cover you now with a mighty shield against doubt in the name of Jesus Christ and call on the Holy Spirit to saturate you all with the PEACE of heaven. We pour FAITH out over you- FAITH in things unseen and in Gods supernatural provision. We say “bring on the funds Lord! We thank you that you have done it. Bring on the blessings, our hands are open! We trust YOU and YOU alone.”
