One of my friends from the area sent me a message yesterday and asked if I had an extra tent for her teammates. She says that her team–the sex-trafficking edition-does not need a tent for their trip in January, but they DO need a tent for training camp this weekend! They are only there for the first 4 days. I told her that I would ask around and see if anyone has an extra tent lying around that they could bring with them. So I am here, asking. 🙂 If you do, or know of someone who would let you borrow one just comment here and I’ll put you in contact with her. Hopefully it will all work out for them!
ALSO. I need to tell you all about this book that you must read! Its called “Sun Stand Still” by Pastor Steven Furtick. Its the perfect book for reading before going out onto the field. It is centered around the Joshua 10:13 miracle where he asked the sun to stand still over Gideon so he could defeat them in battle, as the Lord had promised. Its all about living with Audacious faith and trusting God for the impossible. You can check it out at www.sunstandstill.org . I’m still reading it so I will have it with me on the trip.
