So since im so late in the game i feel like ive been running around like a chicken with its head cut off scrambling to get everything prepared for this trip. On top of all of this i am leaving for my first mission trip next saturday to Dominican Republic for 8 days… so im trying not to let this trip overshadow the importance of my first one! So while preparing and trying to get all my support letters out and while working extra hours to make up for the time lost while gone… the day i get my blog information my internet decides to call it quits at my house… my laptop and desktop wont turn on! How Discouraging!! So i haven’t been able to print my support cards.. write my first blog.., communicate with pretty much anyone about this huge trip i’ve just signed up for! Thank goodness the cable people are coming monday to fix everything but i feel like its another roadblock keeping my from getting things done effeciently! Pray i don’t lost my mind haha… on a happier note i brought my laptop to my work today and can get on the internet here and there and i feel like im finding some sanity (i guess its just a glimpse at what we have to look forward to for 11 months… can’t wait to be totally disconnected from the world and just have God!) anyways i just wanted to give a big hello to my new raqce family and i can’t wait to see and meet everyone in october! God has amazing things in store for us and its gonna be AWESOME to see them played out! 🙂
