This past Sunday, we had the opportunity to help servie the YWAM staff here in Chang Mai by watching their children at the Christmas Party. It was a lot of fun and was a different change of scenery from college kids and bar ministry to be able to love on and watch some children!  They were full of energy, were tons of fun, and were easy to love!  Kelsi Dawe, from Team 180, writes about that night . . ..

Last night, while the YWAM Chiang Mai missionaries were having their Christmas Party at WonGen Kafe, the ladies of Team Jubilee, Team 180 and I were able to  bless them by baby-sitting their children upstairs- hence we felt like the girls from the Baby-sitters Club. When I was younger I  read over 100 Baby-sitters Club books, which may be one of my finest literary accomplishments to date.

As you can tell we had a fun couple of hours playing games (like Sorry, Uno, Old Maid), making a christmas Angel, and even being able to watch part of the Grinch that Stole Christmas.  I think we were more excited to watch the movie than the kids were 🙂 (we had been wanting to watch a Christmas movie for a while and then God blesses us while we are blessing others- just goes to show how much God loves us 🙂 ).  I would also like to add that I too was a big fan of the Baby Sitter Club books!  Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and hopefully I will be posting again very soon!
