times before and then this ONE time, God reveals something completely new?

As I was riding the train last week, I opened my Bible to Ephesians and God spoke.
Let me preface this by saying that several weeks prior, I was praying about whether or not it was time for me to lead a World Race squad. (If you don’t know what that means, the simple version is that we send out World Race “squads” of around 50 or 60 people, and then we break them down into small teams of 6 or 7. Two World Race alumni lead the squad for their first 4-5 months on the field and then appoint two others from within the squad to take their places.)
In my prayer time, God’s presence showed up in giving my heart peace, and He said,
“Part of your inheritance lies in squad leading.”
Okay, God. But what does that mean?!
Fast forward to the train incident. I opened my Bible to Ephesians, and the word inheritance was literally jumping off the pages. I’ve heard people talk about our inheritance many times before, but something finally sunk in that day. Here is a small taste of what I wrote in my journal:
“According to Ephesians, my inheritance in Christ is to see ALL of creation redeemed; plants, animals, people…EVERYTHING! God, how I LONG for redemption to come! How I LONG to see all peoples’ turn to you in praise! Let the rocks and mountains cry out with groanings! May your people not remain silent any longer. May we cry out for your Kingdom to be established on earth; your KINGDOM that brings about a holy redemption of all creation!
Ooooh, God…I’m getting it. You told me that I have an inheritance in the World Race – and I have to get part of it by squad leading. That means Jesus wants to impart a holy redemption through me in the lives of these Racers! Their redemption is wholeness; FREEDOM; chains breaking loose; restoration of mind, body and spirit.
You’re calling me forth to claim my rightful inheritance through Jesus!!”
As children of the Most High God, we have all been given this inheritance. Our inheritance is more than eternity with God. We have to get past that thinking! As I stated earlier, it’s about the redemption of Creation!
This July, I will be leading one of two World Race squads that will be launching in the Dominican Republic. Right now, I have a random array of all sorts of emotions. But I know that this is the next place God is calling me to be, and I can’t wait to get this ball rolling!
My question is, will you partner with me in this inheritance?
I’m looking for others (you!) to walk alongside me in prayer and financial support. I need a spiritual backing of prayer to do this. I also need to raise another $10,000 by July.
