This month in Albania we got the opportunity to host a two day Beauty For Ashes event for the girls who live in the outskirts of Tirana. Beauty For Ashes is an Adventures In Missions program where we get to empower, declare freedom and remind them of their worth and beauty in Jesus!
Many of these lovely girls are from the poorest parts of Tirana. Some beg for money on the street, most live in government housing, but all of them have uncontainable, contagious joy. Their value & their worth doesn’t come from what the world says- they find joy in relationships, kind strangers & the love of Jesus. During our time there we got to wash the Albanian dust off their feet and remind them how pure, lovely and beautiful they are.
