I want to start this blog by thanking our sweet Lord for no electricity! Losing power for over 30 hours was rough but I was so thankful it happened.

No power meant no wifi. Which also meant lots of uninterrupted time with Jesus.

I spent lots of time with my teammates. Not having anywhere to go or anything to do gave us the opportunity to spend time with each other. We had a photoshoot, played cards, and had a dance party. Super fun!

We also had a candle light dinner! And yes, We didn’t have a choice but it was still romantic!

We taught English! Not having power didn’t stop us or the children! They all came to class ready to learn!

Not having electricity was truly an inconvenience but God has a way of turning an uncomfortable situation into a blessing.
