In Light of turning 30 this past month I wanted to write a blog hilighting 30 memories/moments from the first 10 countries. I had many different feelings leading up to turning 30. But so far its been a great year and can’t wait to see what else happens in this year.

1st morning of ministry in India hearing a chicken and a trumpet really close to our door. Jordan woke up and asked if it was a live trumpet.

Getting the change to go to remote villages and see what life looks like for those people in India.

Swimming and teaching our translators how to swim in the Bay of Bengal.

All squad month in Nepal 1 house 4 ½ bathrooms( the ½ was a squatty potty in the basement that 3 teams used) 1 real shower, 3 bucket showers, and 55 people.

Hospital visits. The first few trips was taking squadmates to the hosptial. Then it was taking myself to the hospital. Having Ecoli was not fun.

Hiking about 20 miles in the Himilayas with ½ the squad and getting to see a cave while hiking.

Working with the little babes in Vietnam.

The reflections and revelations that came while building and painting a white picket fence.

Seeing the history, culture, and cu chi tunnels of Vietnam.

You swaet buckets of sweat no matter what you do or wear in Cambodia.

Communion-washing feet with my first team

Seeing Angkor Wat and then going into team changes

Losing my phone on a bus stop bench in Thailand

Uno, teaching 21 times in 3 days, growing grass

Riding in the blue truck-building community with the Thai YWAM team

Layover in Rome on the way to Albania. Still can’t believe I was there.

Painting 18 murals in 2 weeks

Living in the disney mannor with 16 people, 1 shower, 2 toilets, and 1 kitchen

Resort Cabin in Boge (Kosovo), buliding fires

Picking weeds on a Jalopeno farm

Baking in a bakery

Sleeping in the same room as Michelle for a month (ended up being 2 months in a row)

Falling in love with a cute little boy who was a special needs at an orphange

Getting the last 1:1’s with each team member as they went with me while I got my root canal in Bulgaria

Livin on a campground for a month

hosting/assistant directing a leadership camp for 84 6th granders

Seeing Victoria Falls and the bus ride back…(one of the worst ones)

All the games/movies/tv shows watched as a team while living on a homestead in Swaziland

Having Bandile fall alseep in my arms at the carepoint 2 times

Turning 30 and celebrating with ½ of the squad. They threw me a 1987 themed dance party. I also got a dirt cake in honor of “dirty thirty”
