Passionate Purpose

How often do you go to work because it’s the job you have but you are not even in the slightest bit passionate about what you are doing? I know o have found myself in that place more often than not. One thing I have learned over the last few months is that life is so much better for you and those around you when you are doing/working/serving in places that you are passionate and being you great joy. It’s ok those moments when you are doing/working/serving with your whole heart. God doesn’t want us to do thing half hearted. That includes serving/loving/worshiping Him. He wants our whole heart. Even the ugly parts.
Matthew 22:37 “and he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with ALL your HEART and with ALL your SOUL and with ALL your MIND “.
How often do we worship God but we are worrying about a problem or wonder what people think of you or while your mind is somewhere else and we are just going through the motions and words. That’s half hearted worship. It means nothing to God.
God wants to be wanted just like any other person. However we won’t have that deeper intimate relationship with him if we don’t crave it and go after Him like we do other things. He does not push himself on us, we must pursue him.
When you are passionately and consistently serving and pursuing God wholeheartedly everything else you are doing will be coming out of that overflow.
Do you know what your passion or your purpose is? If you do are you doing those things? Or are you putting it off for another time? If you aren’t what is holding you back? Why not go after it and change your life.

We have 6 weeks left on the field before we come home. Please be praying that we finish strong, stay present, and press in to what God has for us in the last few weeks. Start praying for our reentry back into America. That we will be able to put into words this last year and all the things we saw God do and what He has done in our lives.
