The last few days have been really crazy. My last blog post talked about prayer and how I didn’t feel like I was able to get the words out that I wanted. Well I got a lot of practice. The village we just got back from we prayed over close to 20-30 people in a span of less than 48 hours. It started with praying for one my teammates who was in a lot pain and ended up having a kidney stone.
We were supposed to head to the village early Thursday morning but we were waiting to see what our was wrong with our teammate. So we got there later in the evenin. The kids showered us with flowers and flower petals. It was so surprising and awkward and made you feel good all at the same time. We sang a few songs for them and then watched them sing and dance some more. After the children left we ate dinner and then we’re having team time when this lady and her daughter walked in. They had come from 4km away just so that we could pray for them. One was recovering from chicken gunia and so we prayed for them.
The following evening the kids came and we played with them and handed out backpacks to them. We were in the middle of an intense game when this lady appe and was in need of prayer. On her walk to us she was stung by a scorpio. We prayed and while praying the pain shot all the way up her leg and went to her hip. We continued to pray until she no longer felt pain. She was Hindu and was amazed at the healing power she felt. She said she then trusted the Kord and wanted to follow him and that she believed inHim.
The people kept kept coming and coming. I finally felt called to pray for a man who has pain in his right side I don’t recall what is from or if that was even told to me. I just started praying for healing. Although we have a lot of people i am still struggling with the confidence I know that the Lord does heal and that we have the power from the Holy Spirit living in us and being Heirs of Christ to heal people. I just struggle with the validity of it. I know it’s something that the Lord will work through me.
I also wanted to share with you about one of our translators who has become a true friend. And ask that you keep him and his family in your prayers. My nickname for him is water buffal. They are everywhere here. And every where we go in all the villages he is there as well. And we have a funny inside joke from going house to house praying in our second village.
He is moving to another town for work here in a few days. He is the only Christian in his family. He lost his father in 2003. That’s the same year he decided to follow Christ. He is young and has one sister and his mom. His dream is to own a business obe day and it have a restauran. Just keep him and his family in your prayers.

I’m still not fully funded and I’m still waiting on a few checks to process so I don’t know exactly how much I am lacking.
Also we only have 3/4 days of ministry left. Please keep praying we can finish out this month strong.
