Scripture of the Month:

“He that lives in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1

October

Training camp was beautiful; a holy spirit filled time of deliverance, discipleship, and celebration of the good things God has done. I’m truly grateful for the time I spent with Jesus and my brothers and sisters in Christ. God used the people there to speak life into each other and I benefited greatly from the love and encouragement I experienced there. I came away with a deeper understanding of God’s love for me and the world. It’s a relief to tap into how you honestly are doing and then be accepted in spite of yourself. I’m truly grateful for the freedom I’ve experienced from the shame of my past failings and that in Christ I’m no longer condemned. You can best lift me up with prayers for staying close to the Love of Jesus and walking victoriously in Him. Thank you for your prayers.

Updates:

10.28.09          As I was praying for a job this past month. The Holy Spirit impressed on me to seek employment at a child care center I had worked at previously. Today I was accepted and start tomorrow. I’m so excited by how God works. I’m glad even though I know there are challenges that await. God is indeed High and lifted up!

p.s. I’m also looking forward to loving Jesus’s kids during children’s church these next two months!

10.21.09          A little over 100 people were baptized in Christ this past Wednesday at my home church’s (Quest Community Church) Fall baptism! God is working in amazing ways.

Financial

Goal                Just Got Back from Training Camp! Another Family said they would like to donate.

Praise the Lord for his provision. I’m getting the word out there to friends on my recent Facebook account.

Prayer

Requests         Our team just finished training at camp where we joined our teams. I now am part of a team of 6 women readying themselves for this next year of missions work. Pray that God would release finances for them as well as for their strength and endurance this next two months prior to our departure. I thank God for his hand in each of our lives that we are abiding in His joy. Thank you for your consideration for us as we go on this journey. May the Holy spirit alight your hearts with the gospel of peace and may you find yourself bubbling over with his love and good works.

I continue to send prayers up for the October ‘L’ squad for their continued good work in Christ among the people of Guatemala. To read more about their on-field experiences visit http://www.theworldrace.org/

                    Sincerest regards in Christ Jesus,
