Hello, I am writing you from Simon's Town, South Africa! We have been here for a week now, doing work with The People's Church. I would like to use this opportunity to update you on how I'm doing with my fundraising.
As you might now, I have a fundraising program for the Worldrace. The amount that I have to raise is 15.500$. That covers all of my expenses during this year including food, lodging and travels.
So far I raised 9200$. That means I still need 6300$. Our next deadline is July 1st. Until then I need the money.
So yeah, I am in need. Without your help I won't be able to continue here on the Race.
I am so thankful for your support in the past and for all your prayers. Before starting the Worldrace I had no idea where the the money would come from. You have shown me God's provision. God has used you to show me that He cares for me and gives me what I need.

Moin, ich schreibe euch aus Simon's Town in Suedafrika! Wir sind jetzt seit einer Woche hier und arbeiten mit The People's Church (die Kirche der Menschen). Ich moechte die Gelegenheit nutzen, um euch zu erzaehlen, wie es mit meinem Fundraising aussieht.
Wie ihr vielleicht wisst, habe ich ein Spendenprogramm fuer The Worldrace. Mein Spendenziel ist 15.500 Dollar (etwa 11.500 Euro). Mit diesem Geld werden alle Ausgaben wie Essen, Reisekosten und Unterbringung bezahlt.
Bisher habe ich 9.200 Dollar (7000 Euro), mir fehlen also noch 6300 Dollar (4500 Euro). Unsere naechste Deadline ist der 1. Juli 2013 und bis dahin brauche ich das Geld.
Ich brauche Hilfe. Ohne eure Unterstuetzung werde ich The Worldrace nicht fortsetzen koennen.
Fuer eure bisherige Unterstuetzung und Gebete bin ich wirklich sehr dankbar. Bevor ich hier anfing hatte ich keine Ahnung, woher das Geld kommen sollte. Ihr habt mir Gottes Fuersorge gezeigt. Durch euch hat Gott mir gezeigt, dass ich ihm wichtig bin und dass er sich um mich kuemmert.
