In Atlanta, a stack of $1000 is called a "rack."

Jacson and I have thought about making our own music video. . .
Many of you have asked about my journey in respect to my financial support. Here is the breakdown. . .
Total cost: $14,800
Covers travel to 11 different countries, food, and lodging for all 11 months.
Does not cover travel to and from training camp or our launch location, essential gear (the tent I will be living in), vaccinations, and insurance.
I have committed to $7,000 from my own income. I cashed in my retirement fund, I'm still getting my salary over the summer, and I am working a summer job. Plus, this does not include my tax return that I will be blessed by come January.
The rest I am trying to raise through fundraising, and truly trust that "when God calls, He provides."
One thing I am doing to fundraise is selling these awesome t-shirts that a girl from my squad got us at a great deal!

Let me know if you are interested in purchasing one, or five!
Other than that, I would love for you to partner with me through financial support. It's a great way to be a part of reaching communities around the world when you are not free to go yourself!
Originally, I had thought to refrain from asking for financial support. However, as I thought about the times my friends have undertaken service opportunities like these, I remembered the joy and eagerness I felt to get to participate with them by giving money. That's when I realized that I shouldn't automatically deprive my friends and family of that same opportunity to partner with me.
Please consider being one of my supporters. My money does not have to come in all at once so you are free to give as you are able. My deadlines are as follows. . .
A special thanks to those of you who have already given or expressed a desire to! I appreciate it with all my heart!!
Remember, even $1 will cover 1/4 of my food for one day on The Race. What you think is a small amount is a HUGE blessing!
Most importantly, if you are not able to give at this time, please keep me in your prayers! Your shout-outs to God are even more effective than the malaria medication I've yet to purchase!!
Lots of love, Jamie Jo
