This morning we went to Kyle’s church in Anglo-Jos. The church that rebels tried to start on fire to no resolve. No matter what they did, the church would not light on fire. It was great to worship with this community of believers, who do get it, who get what it means to be a Christian and keep the faith despite trials and tribulations. Who help each other out in conflict, who go out to the villages in the area who were also affected, who serve God with their hearts

Reverend Philip Tachin spoke on the glory of the universal family of Christ. It was encouraging to hear how no matter where one is we are part of the same body of believers. The parting greeting is what I really left church with, and will hold onto. The parting greeting said, “As you have been feed in this service, go feed the hungry. As you have been set free, go set free the imprisoned. As you have received, give. As you have heard, proclaim. And the blessing that you have received from the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit be always with you. So that is what I leave you with today.
