We have reached a milestone in the race- we are currently on day 200! I thought reaching day 100 (in Albania) was a big step, but this has definitely proven to be greater than that. It’s crazy to think about what 200 days has meant for me. I’ve been away from home for 200 days. I have spent 200 days traveling the world. I have spent 200 days living life in a way that I never will again. So as I reflect on what these 200 days has meant to me, here is a list of things I have done during these 200 days:

  • I have been to 4 continents
  • I have been to 16 countries.
  • I have bathed in rivers/waterfalls.
  • I have hiked up a muddy mountain in a skirt and rubber boots.
  • I have been a translator for Spanish.
  • I have seen old friends and made new ones.
  • I have almost been hit by a truck after a robbery.
  • I have worked in a restaurant.
  • I have helped to dig a 6ft hole.
  • I have shared the gospel to Muslim girls.
  • I have been to an ancient Bible city.
  • I have lived in a house with 21+ other people for a month.
  • I have celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years away from home.
  • I spent the night in a broken down bus on the side of the road.
  • I have lived with 5 others in a one bedroom apartment.
  • I have surfed in both the South Pacific Ocean and the South Atlantic Ocean.
  • I have had one of the best birthdays ever while at an orphanage in Africa.

And as we continue on for however many days we have left (honestly, I am not doing a countdown and don’t plan to), I know this list will only continue to grow and show how much is possible in a year devoted to the Lord.
