The end is a scary thing to think about. The end is never really the end anyway. It is only the beginning of something so much more. When I go home from the Race, it won’t be the end of this journey, of this new season of my life. But it will only be the beginning will only continue. My growth, my adventure, my life will only continue once the Race is finished.
When will this be? I hope not soon. I have a dilema though. I still need to raise $1,926 by January 1, 2012 in order to stay for the remainder of the Race. It is truly amazing and only shows God’s goodness and love with the fact of all the money that has already been raised. When I was first accepted for the Race, I had my doubts about raising all this money. But who am I to doubt God? Really? Time after time, He has shown up and the money has come through and I have learned not to expect anything different this time.
The Lord has done great things and used me in great ways in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Albania and currently Romania, and I know it only has to continue to South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. The best is yet to come.
But I can’t do this alone. I need your help! I want to thank my current sponsors and blog stalkers. You all ROCK! Please keep this in your prayers! God’s got it handled, but it doesn’t hurt to make your requests known. And spread the word! Share this blog and who knows who God will work through next!
I love you all and hope not to see you soon! God still has some great things planned for the remainder of this trip! And I can’t wait to experience them all!
