So during training camp, we are placed into smaller teams. Our teams become the people we will travel the world with, do ministry with, seek support and help from, and most importantly… they become our family.
My team has 4 women and 2 men. All amazing people of God. Willing to sacrifice 11 months of their lives in order to serve the Living Lord and His people.
Our team name has an interesting story. From the beginning, we had a theme of Fire… but all names we came up during the brainstorming process were just kind of….blah... and then with a 2 minute time crunch… FIREPROOF was spoken and immediately loved by all of us. We are not entirely sure of the exact meaning, but we know the Lord will reveal meanings to us (because we believe there are many) during the course of the trip.

Why he’s going: to embrace God’s plan for his life. Most excited for Vietnam and Asian countries. Also has a passion for orphanages after his recent trip to Guatemala.

Why I’m going: I’ve enjoyed the past 2 years of campus ministry but am seeking where God might have me serve next. I have a huge heart for children and sense God’s brewing up something BIG for the next season of my life!
